Where we began

Qutbi Tours & Holidays was founded in Nashik, Maharashtra, on a very unglamorous belief: a travel agency should be judged not by the brochure it prints, but by the phone call it takes at 2 a.m. when your flight is cancelled in Istanbul. That is still the sentence pinned above the desk of every consultant we hire, and it is why the business has grown almost entirely by referral for more than two decades.

We started with one desk, one phone, one printer and a stack of paper visa forms. Passengers came in because their neighbours told them to. The neighbours came in because their own neighbours told them to. Two decades later, that chain is unbroken. Roughly six out of ten travellers who book with us today were sent by someone we served yesterday. That is a number we protect harder than any KPI.

What we do — and just as importantly, what we don't

Qutbi Tours & Holidays is a full-service travel agency. That means we plan, quote, book, document, monitor and troubleshoot every part of a trip — visas, flights, hotels, ground transfers, packages, insurance, forex, cruises, honeymoons, group tours, corporate offsites, passport work and customized itineraries. If it moves you, houses you, feeds you or documents you on the way, we handle it.

What we don't do is equally clear. We don't ghost travellers after payment. We don't hide add-on costs in fine print. We don't operate on the "book anything and hope for the best" model that some online agencies survive on. We don't oversell a destination that is wrong for the season, or a hotel that has quietly slipped in standard. And we don't submit a visa file that we know is weak, because a rejection stamp on your passport can hurt your next five years of travel far more than the visa fee we would have earned today.

Our founding principle

A travel business grows the way trust does — one honest quote, one recovered baggage, one child's first flight, one grandmother's first passport, one wedding anniversary saved by a late-night phone call. Everything we do at Qutbi is a compound-interest calculation on trust.

Who we serve

Our travellers are as varied as the destinations we book. On any given week, our office in Nashik handles:

You'll notice the pattern: we serve the entire span from a first-time family holiday to complex, multi-city, multi-visa corporate itineraries. Because we do all of it, we don't treat any single traveller like a rounding error.

Our team

Qutbi is not a call-centre. Our team is compact, senior and specialised. You are not passed between six people. You are assigned one consultant who owns your file from first enquiry to your last baggage claim.

You should not have to take our word for anything.

The Qutbi service standard

Everything we do is measured against a service standard we publish internally and re-publish here so you can hold us to it:

  1. First response under 8 minutes during business hours, on WhatsApp or phone.
  2. Quotation within 24 hours for domestic; within 48 hours for international multi-city.
  3. Named consultant, single point of contact for the entire trip.
  4. Visa documentation checklist printed and handed over on Day 1.
  5. Pre-trip briefing call 48 hours before departure — SIM, forex, immigration tips, weather brief.
  6. Live WhatsApp group for group tours and MICE, with the tour manager on it.
  7. On-trip emergency line 24×7, real humans, average solve time under 90 minutes.
  8. Post-trip follow-up within 3 working days to close feedback and refund loops.

Our approach to visas — the biggest reason people choose us

Roughly 60% of first-time travellers come to us specifically for a visa. Not because the form is hard to fill — it isn't — but because a rejection is genuinely painful. It sits on your passport for years, other consulates ask about it, and the emotional cost of a "refused" stamp is real.

We treat every visa file like a small legal argument: what does the applicant want, what does the consulate need to be convinced of, and where is the weakness in the story? Our visa consultants will:

The result: our visa approval rate sits consistently above 98% — and the small percentage that don't get approved almost always involve documentation the applicant chose to hide from us. Honesty with your visa consultant is not just polite — it is statistically necessary.

Our travellers — the ones who keep coming back

"I booked one Dubai trip with Qutbi in 2019 for my in-laws. Since then, my brother's Bali honeymoon, our Kashmir family holiday, my father's Europe group tour, and my son's Singapore study visa have all gone through them. I don't remember the last time I opened MakeMyTrip."
— Long-time client, Nashik
"The reason we keep going back is embarrassingly simple: they answer the phone."
— Corporate customer, Aurangabad

What "serving UAE & GCC travellers" actually means

A significant share of our travellers live in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. Some are Indian expats visiting family in Nashik and Mumbai; some are GCC nationals planning multi-country holidays; some are companies sending Indian employees on MICE trips. For all of them, we operate on IST + GST business hours (which conveniently overlap for most of the working day), we accept AED and USD wire payments, we invoice cleanly in INR with GST or in USD without, and we build itineraries that are prayer-time-aware and halal-safe by default.

Practically, this means when a Sharjah-based family says "we need lunch places that are halal on our Turkey trip", we don't send them to Trip Advisor — we send them a curated list our tour manager has personally eaten at.

Sustainability and responsible travel

Tourism is a heavy industry. We can't pretend a Maldives seaplane transfer is climate-neutral. What we can do is make small, honest choices: partnering with hotels that have credible sustainability programs, briefing groups on wildlife-safe behaviour before Andaman/Kerala trips, offering optional carbon-offset add-ons for long-haul flights, and never selling itineraries built on animal cruelty (no elephant rides, no dolphin shows, no captive-wildlife photo props). Small choices, made every day, at scale.
